Abu Dhabi Taxi Booking By Calling Helpline

You can call Abu Dhabi taxi by phone through Abu Dhabi Integrated Transport Centre helpline number 600 535353. The helpline is available 24×7 (every day of the week for 24 hours). The helpline number is not toll free. The customer service agent will guide you through the process of booking the taxi.

This number is also customer care number. This number is also used for Al Ain taxis and any other taxis in Abu Dhabi emirate.

You need to provide following information to customer service agent to book taxi

  1. Pick up location
  2. Drop off location
  3. Taxi Type (Standard Taxi/Family Taxi/6 Seater Taxi/Special Need Taxi/Airport Taxi)
  4. Timing (Current time or date & time for future dated booking)

You will receive an SMS notifying you with the taxi number, the driver’s name & approximate time of of taxi’s arrival. If you want to pre book the taxi for future booking, specify future date and time.

Alternatively, you can book taxi using Abu Dhabi Taxi mobile app also. Taxi booking charges are Dhs. 4 during the day & Dhs. 5 during the night. These charges are added to your bill amount at the end of your journey.

Booking Cancellation

Abu Dhabi Taxi Lost & Found

You can provide lost & found item details to customer service agent who will help you immediately get you your lost item. In most cases, you will get the lost item back.

Alternatively, you can log lost & found request using Abu Dhabi Taxi mobile app also. However, calling helpline number is recommended way so that you can get lost item like mobile, wallet, bag, documents, camera etc immediately.

You need to provide following information to customer service agent to find lost item

  1. Which item is lost (for example mobile, wallet etc)
  2. Date & approximate time of taxi trip
  3. Pick up location & drop off location
  4. Taxi fare
  5. Whether payment was done by cash or card

As per Taxi Authority rules for drivers, drivers need to submit the lost items to Taxi Authority office or taxi company office. You can collect the lost item from office or if item is not submitted to office yet then it can be collected from taxi driver. If you request the agent to arrange a delivery of the item to your place and accept to pay for the meter. After delivering the lost item, the driver will get the handover form signed with ID copy of the customer.

I have come across 5-6 cases when my colleagues and friends got mobiles back.

Please note that you need not provide taxi number and driver name/number to customer service agent. Customer service agent will find out taxi even if you don’t remember this info.

As per guidelines given, by Abu Dhabi Integrated Transport Centre to drivers, it is mandatory for drivers to deposit items with Abu Dhabi Integrated Transport Centre office. If not done, they give strict warning to the drivers.

Social Card Related Services

Abu Dhabi residents above the age of 60, and those who suffer from chronic illnesses are entitled to a 50 per cent discount on Abu Dhabi Taxi bill.

In addition, 16 categories of people registered at the Ministry of Social Affairs (MSA), including divorced women, widows and orphans, will be eligible for a discount of 25 per cent.

People can obtain social discount cards based on their category of social need. Drivers will swipe the card on a special device in the taxi at the end of the journey and a discount would be applied to the fare.

Driver Care

This option is for drivers in case they are facing any issue. Driver can ask for help in case of any issue like taxi car tyre puncture or any doubt regarding depositing money for the day. This option is not for passengers.
